Instead use clean soft cloths or sponges to wipe the tints gently. Do not use force to wipe them as this many also damage the tint.

The home window tinting process usually does not take a lot of time whereas the tints can last for up to 15 years if they are well taken care of. To ensure that your tints last for long do not expose them to sharp objects which can scratch and damage them. Avoid placing stickers or other items on the tint as the adhesives or suction cups can cause the degradation of the tints. Take extra care when you are moving things around the house so that you do not graze items on the tint causing them to damage the tints.
